We are Miracles In Sight.

We are eye banking leaders, dedicated educators and passionate visionaries in making the miracle of sight possible for more people everywhere.

Inspiration. Collaboration. Innovation.

Restoring sight. Advancing knowledge. Enhancing access.

As one of the largest, nonprofit eye banks in the world, Miracles In Sight works to help restore sight and enhance life for thousands of people each year. We provide ophthalmologists with high-quality tissue for corneal transplants and partner with innovators around the world to develop and improve surgical processes and products as well as increase access to life-changing ophthalmic care.

Donated ocular tissue is used in corneal transplant surgeries to restore or preserve vision for those suffering from eye diseases such as macular degeneration, Fuchs’ dystrophy, and other disorders. Corneal transplants are life changing procedures with a high rate of success in restoring a person’s independence and overall well-being.

Our facilities

Miracles In Sight is headquartered in Clemmons, North Carolina, in a state-of-the-art, 26,000-sq. ft. lab, training and administrative facility. We have facilities in South Carolina which allow us to partner with surgeons and donor organizations across both states.  We have operations in Austin, Texas and have recently expanded service into Lubbock. Our partnerships in Texas afford MIS additional capacity and flexibility to fill corneal tissue requests from across the country and around the world.
