Lisa began her career in healthcare as a paramedic and preceptor in Randolph County, NC, from 2007 to 2010. Her experience in emergency medical services laid the foundation for her passion for serving others in critical situations. In 2010, she transitioned into the field of eye banking, joining Miracles In Sight as a recovery specialist. Her dedication and expertise quickly led her to the clinical services department in 2011, where she honed her technical skills in tissue evaluation, processing, distribution, and eventually was given the designation of Medical Director Designee.

Recognized for her exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence, she was appointed as Manager of Clinical Services in 2020. In this role, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of both the lab facilities in Winston Salem, NC and Manor, TX. Her responsibilities included managing staffing, training, tissue evaluation, processing, distribution, and the donor eligibility department. Additionally, she was certified as a designated trainer by the Miracles in Sight Medical Director, highlighting her dedication to sharing knowledge and driving efficiencies within the organization. In 2023, she achieved the Certified Eye Bank Technician (CEBT) certification. Building on her successes, she was promoted to the role of Director of Clinical Services in 2024. In this capacity, she provides strategic and innovative oversight to all aspects of the department, ensuring that Miracles in Sight continues to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
