Susan Grunow, MPH, CEBT, CTBS

Director of Donor Development

Susan Grunow is the Director of Donor Development for Miracles In Sight which oversees the Donor Center and Professional Development Departments.

The Donor Center is a remote team of Eye Bank Coordinators that support the multi-service areas of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Autin, Texas. They compassionately serve Donor Families by offering the opportunity of anatomical eye donation to provide sight-restoring corneas for transplant and eyes for research to those in need.

The Professional Development Department maintains our relationships with around 300 partner organizations including hospitals, Medical Examiners, Coroners, Texas Justice of the Peace Offices, and EMS and Hospice groups. We also support our community’s Funeral Homes and our Organ Procurement Organizations and Tissue Bank donation partners.

Mrs. Grunow joined the MIS team as the prior Director for the Communication Center for Donation at LifeGift in Texas and the Donor Referral Center Director for Community Tissue Services in Ohio. Susan has 22 years of industry skills with her career starting in Tissue Recovery. She holds a CEBT and CTBS industry certification. Susan earned her Master of Public Health degree from Wright State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Miami University (Oxford, OH). Susan lives in Ohio with her Husband and their 3 Children.
